Find Of The Day: The Ultimate Corrado?

It takes a lot for us to label something the “ultimate” anything. And today’s Find Of The Day, a 1992 Volkswagen Corrado SLC,  approaches ultimate status. Take a look at the details and you’ll see what we mean.
Not to be cliché, but the definition of ultimate is “the best achievable or imaginable of its kind.” Or they could have used this Corrado. What makes it so great? Well if you haven’t already jumped to the photos, this SLC is massaged from top to bottom and from inside to out.
First things first; this Corrado has a Volkswagen tuner’s favorite engine: the legendary VR6. But VWVortex member cstanley19 couldn’t get by with a stock motor. The ad says ” Literally every part of the drivetrain gone through.” The VR6 upgrades include new pistons, connecting rods, hardware, seals, and much more. The cherry on the top of this mega motor: a Kinetic T3T4 turbocharger. Take a look at the ridiculously clean engine bay.
Outside, the clean body lines show hours upon hours were spent on this car. The pulled fender arches allow wide tires to fit underneath. The badges are shaved, and the ad says the ‘Rado has A4-style flush door handles. It has a full air ride suspension and chrome ABT wheels. It also comes with the original OEM BBS wheels and unfinished ABT wheels.
